We were registered on 5th April 2008 as a society under the Societies Act 1966 of Malaysia. Previously we operated as Pusat Berdikari Seremban which ceased to exist as of the beginning of 2009. We are an employment training centre for people with learning disabilities. Our present capacity of 25 trainees is almost fully taken up.

We work by our vision of

teaching our trainees to become self reliant, giving them the right to live meaningful and full lives with a hope of moving towards independent living and becoming competent members of society.

We will train those learning disabled people of whatever background between the ages of 18 and 40 who are toilet trained, non-violent and without behavioral problems, in specific survival and job related skills to prepare them for work outside our centre. Where such opportunities are not available, or the trainees are not ready, we will provide work in our Sheltered Workshop.
Trainees earn an allowance, working in workplace simulated environment. They are treated with love and respect but expected to abide by the center's rules and regulations. We also expect parents to collaborate with us to make the training effective for the well being of their children.

Front view of our centre located at Taman Bukit Chedang in Seremban. New building bought is adjacent to it.
Our logo symbolizes the wholeness of a person irrespective of whatever deformities that person may have. We believe that the Creator made all things good and complete. The figure in the centre carries a bed, which may be the crutch on which he depended upon most of his life. PBSNS tries to help the person overcome his difficulties and learn to live a full life to the best of his abilities. The person is able to stand on his own abilities and walk with dignity and courage.
