No man is an island, they say. So we cannot live alone but in companionship with others. The continued existence and functioning of our association hinges upon the support we get from well wishers. There are several ways you may help us grow this socially responsible work to the under-privileged.
Financially
Partnership Appeal
We project an annual expenditure of RM100,000 to cover all expenditures to run our centre for 2010. Your donation will cover part of its running costs.
Building Fund Appeal
This is a one time project that will cost us about RM250,000. RM140,000 is to repay the cost of building we purchased in June 2009 and the rest is for repairing, renovating and equipping it to train more learning disabled trainees.
You may donate in the following ways:
1. Cash - we only receive cash donations at our centre. Official receipts will be issued on the spot. No cash donation via mail please.
2. Malaysian cheques - please issue cheques payable to the name of the centre and mail or deliver to the centre at the address shown in the Contact Us page. Alternatively you may bank into our account and (Click Here for details) send us an email to notify us.
3. Oversea donations - we encourage you to pay via our Paypal account by clicking on this link.
We are in the process of applying for tax exemption status from the tax authorities. Your donations is presently not tax exempted.
Volunteering
As we expand we will require more volunteers in the areas of supervising, teaching, art and handicraft and bakery skills. Volunteers should commit at least one half day in a week.
Purchases
Income derived from sale of hand made cards, cakes and cookies will be distributed to the trainees involved in their production.
